Black n' White

Here is Dakoda in her little sweater outfit

Halloween Day

Marie Goode and Dakoda

Friends

Dakoda's friend, Marie came over to visit on Halloween day. Ellie, my friend, and I let the girls play and see how they did with each other. I think they did very well...besides Marie chewing on Dakoda's arm and Dakoda pulling Marie's hair! However they did share the toy. They are exactly 3 weeks apart from each other.

BOO!

Roar! Hiss! Grrr!!!

Retirement Ceremony

Nick helped with a retirement ceremony for one of the men off of his ship. Dakoda and I came along. They had the ceremony on the USS Wisconsin Battleship in downtown Norfolk. Nick was dressed in his dress-blues and took part of the flag ceremony. It was a nice day to get out of the house and do something different.

Dakoda Rolled Over!

October 25th Dakoda rolled over for the first time. I needed to curl my hair, so I layed her down in the hallway next to the bathroom door so I could watch her while I did my hair. Within a couple of minutes she rolled over from her belly to her back. And she has done it two times since then.

Cutie

Dakoda 3 months and 3 weeks old. She is just now starting to fit in 3 month clothing, but still manages to fit in her newborn clothes.

"NO Momma!"

Miss Attitude

Stellar Spider

This one was the one I carved.

Spooky Jack-O-Lanterns

We were very proud of our pumpkins this year! Too bad they didn't last for very long.

Day 1...Evolution of a Jack-O-Lantern

It was growing black mold, so we set it out on our porch and you'll see what happens over the next couple of days....I am ashamed that I left it out there for so long.

Day 2

It had rained which caused this unfortunate pumpkin to melt away.

Day 3

By now, there are fruit flies and other types of bugs making this pumpkin their new home...oh and it stinks sooo bad! This thing is almost as flat as a pancake! YUCK!

Jungle Gym

She loves to hit and shake her toys that hang above her. The look on her face says, "ahh, you caught me!"

Smile!

She knows how to work the camera!

3 Months Old

The date is wrong in this picture, but princess has just been pampered by getting her nails painted. She gets a fresh coat once a week---or when mommy finds the time to do it.

Monarch

This Monarch decided to bask in the sun for a little bit on our balcony...long enough for me to get a picture of him.

New Swing

Dakoda enjoying her swing time.

Watch Dog

Teddy is keeping a close eye on her while she is on the floor. He's a great dog!

ZZZzzzzz...

She looks so peaceful!

2 Months Old

Dakoda is 2 months old in this picture and she is begining to smile a lot for the camera! It makes taking pictures soo much easier!

Washington DC

Hubby and I at the Washington Monument in August of '07.

Nick and Dakoda at the Washington Monument. Dakoda is one month old in this picture.

Pretty Little Sunday Dress

Dakoda modeling her new church dress...work it girl!

At the Beach

Dakoda and I on Buckroe Beach. I believe she is a month old in that picture.

The NorVa

Nick's band headlined at the NorVa on July 27th. It was a great show.

Nick playing his solo with his band Dai the Flu

Tummy Time

She doesn't mind tummy time, just as long as she isn't laying there for over 10 minutes...then she starts to get fussy.

Bringing Home Baby

Her umbilical cord finally fell off so we could give her a real bath. Turns out, she loves baths.

I needed the sleep so bad, but it was so hard because I was so excited about finally seeing what my baby looks like after 9 months.

This picture cracks me up because she is holding her pacifier in her mouth with her legs straight out in front of her. The doctor said that it takes time for a lot of breeched babies to train their legs to stay down like normal. When she was born, her legs sprung up, literally hitting her in the face.

Precious

Baby girl and her daddy.

I'm a Momma!!!

I finally got to hold my baby!

This was the first time we got to see our little bundle of joy! Ohh she was so tiny!
Morphine?? Now that's what I'm talking about! j/k By now, I'm just ready to get this kid OUT!

At the hospital

Nick in his stylish outfit before I go under the knife!

Our family

This was a few weeks before I had Dakoda. Teddy is very photogenic!

My first quilt I made for Dakoda Jaelynn. I don't think it looks bad at all for my first!

Preggy

This is me when I was 36 weeks along...three weeks later we had a C-section.
